HUD Awards More FYI Funding to Keep Foster Youth Housed
This month, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded nearly $1 million to 17 public housing agencies (PHAs) in 11 states.
The PHAs can use the funding, which comes from the Foster Youth to Independence (FYI) Program, to provide housing assistance to youth who are aging out of foster care and experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
