The Council
Members
The members of the council consist of leaders from the following 19 federal agencies:

- Department of Education (ED)
- Department of Labor (DOL)
- Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
- Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
- Department of Agriculture (USDA)
- Department of Commerce

- Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
- Department of Interior
- Department of Justice (DOJ)
- Department of Transportation (DOT)
- AmeriCorps
- General Services Administration (GSA)

Meetings
The council meets four times a year to advance federal collaboration and coordination. In between council meetings, USICH convenes interagency working groups focused on key issues and activities. These meetings all focus on identifying high-impact strategies and aligning efforts to achieve the goals of the Federal Strategic Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness.
Leadership
The council elects a chair and vice chair annually from among its members. The current leadership is:
