Webinar: Determining Homeless Status of Youth for HUD Programs

This webinar provides an overview of the HUD guidance released for intake workers on determining and documenting homeless status for youth using the definition of homelessness found in HUD’s Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) and Continuum of Care (CoC) Programs to ensure youth are not being turned away from the housing and services they need in error.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) released guidance to assist intake workers in determining and documenting homeless status for youth using the definition of homelessness found in HUD’s Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) and Continuum of Care (CoC) Programs to ensure youth are not being turned away from the housing and services they need in error. 

The U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness hosted a webinar on October 28, 2015 for an overview of the guidance.
