The American Rescue Plan (ARP) provides $5 billion through the HOME Program to the 651 State and local Participating Jurisdictions (PJs) that qualified for FY 2021 HOME funds. In collaboration with other community stakeholders, PJs can use the funding to make targeted, strategic investments in housing and other assistance for people experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness, and other vulnerable populations.
This webinar provided PJs and their partners an overview of the requirements related to establishing preferences and selecting beneficiaries for HOME-ARP activities and explained the rules for using HOME-ARP rental housing activities.
This webinar is part of a webinar series hosted by HUD's Office of Affordable Housing Programs (OAHP) to review Notice CPD-21-10 and discuss established requirements for the use of ARP funds to provide homelessness assistance and supportive services.
