COVID-19 Homeless System Response

Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) and ESG – CARES Act (ESG-CV) funds used to prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID-19 may also be used to buy furniture and household furnishings for use by program participants while they are receiving homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing assistance.

This document reviews equipment disposition and recordkeeping requirements that recipients and subrecipients must adhere to when using ESG or ESG-CV funds to buy furniture and household furnishings.
