Centralized Intake for Helping People Experiencing Homelessness (HUD)

This 2010 HUD document is intended for use by governmental and community-based planning groups interested in centralized intake as a strategy for improving the effectiveness of homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing programs.

It includes community profiles as well as a resource list on centralized client intake. The overview and best practice profiles are designed to help planners better understand centralized intake, its variations, and its potential benefits, while the list of resources will be of use to anyone who wants to conduct further research in support of his/her centralized intake planning goals.
