HUD Awards $20 Million For Eviction Protection and Diversion
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced $20 million in inaugural grants from the Eviction Protection Grant Program.
The funding will be awarded to 10 legal service providers that offer no-cost services to low-income tenants at risk of or subject to eviction in areas with high eviction rates, including rural areas.
